What you’ll cover
You’ll work through the key knowledge and practical skills needed to train others, including:
- Manual handling principles and risk: recognising hazards in different tasks and learning how to assess and reduce risk
- Training delivery skills: preparing, delivering and evaluating training sessions, with clear communication of essential safety information
- Applying safe practice: understanding fundamental biomechanical and ergonomic principles to support safer handling
- Assessment and evidence: completing the required written and practical assessments to demonstrate competence
