The CCNSG (Client/Contractor National Safety Group) Safety Passport Renewal is for existing Safety passport holders.

Your current Safety passport must still be in date.

Course Objectives

The CCNSG Safety Passport renewal refreshes knowledge in the key health and safety topics required to work safely on engineering construction sites, including:

  • Health and safety legislation, regulations and safe working practices
  • Permits to work and site safety procedures
  • Safe behaviour at work
  • Safe place of work
  • Fire and emergency procedures
  • Hazard identification and risk assessment
  • Manual handling and safe vehicle use
  • Working at height
  • COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
  • Electricity, noise, vibration and stress
  • Scaffolding and access equipment

Keeping Your Passport Up to Date

Your CCNSG Safety Passport is valid for 3 years. When it’s time to renew, we offer:

  • CCNSG Renewal — a one-day course to extend your passport for a further 3 years
  • Leading a Team Safely (LaTS) — for supervisors and team leaders taking on greater safety responsibilities
  • The ACE Card — an additional qualification recognising your ongoing commitment to safety
